Description

Equator Village is a great place to visit if you want to see a different side of the Maldives. The resort is located on the upper tip of Addu Atoll's heart-shaped landmass and is linked to the atoll's populated towns by a causeway. This allows our guests to easily go throughout the atoll, connect with the islanders, learn about their customs and culture, and firsthand experience Addu hospitality.

Accommodation

There are 78 bungalows in total, all of which are big and cool, constructed with basic European beauty and open onto a verdant courtyard garden. Simple and pleasant standard rooms with a cozy hut and twin sharing rooms with a living space equipped with all facilities and a mini-bar, with an adjoining door connecting to the bedroom.

Location

Equator Village is located a few miles south of the equator on Gan Island, and it takes 90 minutes via domestic aircraft from Velana International Airport to Gan International Airport, followed by a 5 minute car trip. It is made up of four islands connected by causeways that run from Gan to Feydhoo, Maradhoo, and the capital Hithadhoo. A ferry ride distant are three more islands: Meedhoo, Hithadhoo, and Bushy island. The equator tours are designed to experience all of them in all of their natural and historical splendor.

No guest shall offer or give alcoholic drinks to a Maldivian National and is against the constitution of the Maldives Government.

ALL-INCLUSIVE BENEFITS

All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Spirits of regular brands like Whisky, Gin, Bottles water, Canned juices, Soft drinks, Cocktail of the day, table wine by the glass, Selected brand of Beer and evening snacks (ordinary sandwiches, cakes or biscuits) with Tea/Coffee between 16:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs.
All cans and bottles will be issued opened only and self-served at the bar/lounge.
All guests are served at the Restaurant, but no hard liquors will be served. A guest may order but must be self-served.
Bicycle on free of charge.
One Island hopping with BBQ lunch during the entire stay. (Minimum 1 week stay guests only)
1 Snorkeling Trip daily (No equipment).
The bar for all-inclusive service is open from 09.00 hours till midnight (00:00 hrs).
